Is it just me, or is everyone else receiving alot of spam mail from dealers?...

Within the last few weeks, I've been getting alot of spammage from dealers that I've never made purchases. They're pretty big dealers too. Is this happening to anyone here? I find it kind of strange.image

I have a free newsletter sign up on my website, http://www.usrarecoininvestments.com and the people who sign up for the newsletter, want list, or contest are the ONLY people who get an email from time to time. I hate spam.

I got some from Heritage as though I'm a retail buyer.

You have your email address listed in your profile. There are certain spamming dealers that come here to harvest email addresses. I can almost bet one of these dealers spamming you is Joel Rettew, aka Fast Pay, aka Best Coin, and a host of other names.

Yes, on Don Rinkor. However, I have made several purchases from Don; therefore, I would expect it.

Well, if they offer "3 more inches" you can keep your coins in 5x5's.

I've never done business with him but I get his emails. He trolls here and the registry for email addresses to add to his spam list.

razorface.......well, see, SPAM messages often contain ads for concoctions to increase penis size by 3 inches.
The subject lines all say "Get 3 more INCHES!"
    or sumpin like dat

so I was pokin fun at a coin dealer SPAM and tying it in to the common "3 more inches" schtick and since we use 2x2's which measure TWO inches, THREE more inches would make it FIVE inches and.....

    ...it wasn't that funny.

None here. Get email from DLRC, Teaparty and a few others, but I'm on their lists by choice.
  • I've noticed it too. I'm even getting spam from eBay sellers where I was the underbidder.

No Spam here. The Email address is hidden everywhere on this site. image Before it was hidden from time to time I would hear from people that could have only got the Email address from this site. I think ??
