91 WS ball signed by Fay Vincent

I'm curious about the worth of a ball that was given to me by a friend of Fay Vincent. It's an official 1991 World Series ball signed. "For Bill, All my best, Fay Vincent"

    as for worth, like many on here have said, what someone will pay for it. ebay is the real market value, no matter what Beckett or any dealer or shop tells you. i would say also it might be worth a little less than a just "Fay Vincent" signed ball, as yours is personalized and means nothing to anyone not named Bill.

    As CADILLAC said, its worth what somebody will pay for it.. and your target customers are limited to somebody named "BILL".. but luckily, thats a common name, so... =)

    a 'fay vincent' only auto'd ball sold for $15.05 on ebay in a completed items search. like i said, yours may go for less, if at all due to the personalization. if it was Giamatti i would say more. i would just keep it. it would mean more to you or your kids later down the road because it is personalized to you, and i would show it off.

    just my opinion, but $ wise it doesn't go for much.

    I think it goes for abour 20x's the A. Bartlett Giamatti card from that 1990 (1991?) topps set.

    I've met Fay Vincent and been to his house in Connecticut via a good friend who dated his son. Nice guy but in personality & looks, I thought he could pass as a double for Alan Greenspan.
