Ebay Question

I just completed my first ebay transaction and got the card today. I left feedback for the seller but he hasn't left feedback for me. Do seller's usually wait to see what type of feedback the buyer leaves before leaving their's. Just wondering before I start annoying this guy with "please leave me feedback" e-mails. Thanks fellas.

As a seller, I leave feedback when the buyer pays (this is the norm). The buyer has completed their side of the transaction so there is no reason to wait to see what feedback the buyer leaves. As a buyer, I naturally wait to leave feedback until the item is received and checked.

he's probably waiting on you to leave feedback.. there are some buyers that, rather than communicate with the seller if they're unhappy, they think they should automatically leave a negative.. this seller might've been burned in the past..

I cant even tell you the amount of feedback I never get after paying right away..however, you can bet those sellers want it..

I figure 30% wont respond with feedback, and 70% will, I usually wait a while, then send a very friendly reminder to please leave feedback..

I always leave feedback when I receive payment and after receiving items purchased. Unfortunately some people hold feedback ransom. Too bad people have to be that way
