Strike through or planchet defect ? Kennedy

This Kennedy has an indent behind his head. The indent has the same luster as the rest of the coin. I have lots of struck through Lincolns, but they are usually dull compared to the rest of the coin. Before anyone welcomes me (2nd post), I'm on a different computer and a different Internet service provider and couldn't figure out how to log into my old name (commoncents) so I just re-registered and dropped an m out of the name. Thanks for any opinions.

Isn't that approximately where he was shot? The defect is sort-of bullet-shaped.

Sell this on ebay as the unique "magic bullet" Kennedy half.

What does the reverse look like?
Does the indent show though to the other side?
It might be some prankster with a odd shaped punch, anvil and hammer.

The reverse is normal. (scan attached) This coin came out of a mint set that I got at a flea market last year. I rarely ever buy mint or proof sets, but I noticed the indent and the Lincoln's were real nice so I bought it for $10.00. I knew at the time that the 96W dime was worth at least that price.
