What they do is block all popups that don't pay them to not block their popups.
You need to use a Adaware or other program to remove the offending stealth popup programs off your PC, otherwise the popups just get worse and worse.

I use Mozilla Firefox as well. Before I made the switch to Firefox, I used the google toolbar.
