Info on Island of Jersey coins?

I found 2 Island of Jersey coins in an old bag of odds and ends. Does anyone know anything about these coins? They both say "Island of Jersey Liberated 1945 One Twelfth of a Shilling" on one side, and on the other side one has "Queen Elizabeth the Second" and the other has "Georgius VI Dei Gra. Britt. Omn: Rex Fid: Def:+" The portraits face opposite directions. The coins are copper looking and about the size of a US half dollar with smooth edges. Mainly I'm wondering if these coins were a set or part of a set, and if they were issued in 1945 or at a later time. Thanks.
Looking for info on MN national banknotes from New Ulm, Sleepy Eye, Mankato, Hanska, and Lake Crystal. Also Two Harbors, Duluth, Brainerd, and Ely.

Jersey is an English Dependency. Its a small island in the English Channel 12 miles from Normandy, France. Like Guernsey and Alderny, it is the source of a famous breed of dairy cow. The King George VI coin is KM#19, a bronze commemorative of the liberaton of Jersey from the World War II German occupation. Despite the date, it was actually minted from 1949-52. The Elizabeth II coin is also bronze, KM#20, minted in 1954 commemorating the same event. The reversal of portrait direction is in conformity with British custom. With one exception, each monarch's bust has faced opposite to the predecessor's for centuries. In Unc the Geo is $5 and the Elizabeth is $3.50 in the 2005 Krause, with circulated coins valued at $1 or less.
