Pop number is the headline in an ad

Don't remember ever seeing this before. A quarter-page CW ad has the large headline POP 1/0. Below that in type which is 70% smaller, you are told what the coin is - an 1878-S quarter eagle in NGC 66 for around $14K (no photo). I just thought it was strange to have a pop number as the thing intended to draw people to the ad.
Wouldn't most readers first want to know what the coin is? Or is it just me?
On a semi-unrelated note, the ad points out only 14 63s and three 64s of this coin have appeared at auction since 1984. "This coin is two grades finer than any coin offered over the past 20 years!" Yet this coin is being retailed, I suppose others could have been also. Seems a bit of a stretch to only count the ones that were auctioned and say those were the only ones "offered" over a period of time.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Is it legit to cit this as the finest offered in 20 years? Probably not.
But am I surprised? No.
This sort of hyperbole isn't any different than what gets written in half the auction catalogs out there.
