Ruth/Gehrig combo autograph

I have an authgraphed golf scorecard of Ruth/Gehrig from a county club in New York where they played. My grandfather caddied for them, & was able toget them to autograph the scorecard. I was wondering if there was a way 2get it authenticated for insurance purposes & what the value of such an item might be.

  • well psa grades a ruth at 1200.00 and Gehrig at 2000.00 on a 3x5 card which is similar to the scorecard size..

I would have to think you may get something around there or higher if it is authenticated by psa/dna..

If you are not sure how to do it call PSA at the 1-800 number they have and speak to customer service and they will
    walk you thru the process...

    good luck
  • Wow, usually items that are signed by Ruth and Gehrig are old baseballs with very faded signatures. It all depends on "eye" appeal, boldness of the sigs and of course, authenticity. If authentic (PSA/DNA) maybe from $2,500 to $5,000, in my opinion.

I would say more if the signatures are great and PSA/DNA authenticates. Hey that rhymes!
