Yes, I see it, and I'd like to mention to Pinnacle that it may get you more exposure to forum members -- but it's going to be negative exposure because the flashing ad is irritating...

Personally, I could care less. If PCGS wants to make a little bit of money selling ad-banner space, good for them. Doesn't slow my load time at all (cable) and I can't see it after I've scrolled down (and I've set the preferences so it loads 100 threads on the list and 100 messages per page when I enter a thread). So, the banner will spend most of the time scrolled safely out of harm's way =0)
Slows computer down, on tele line (dark ages) but more than than after seeing it with the colors used and banner movement it almost makes me sea sick and I am on dry land.
When I logged on I got a Heritage Banner, the second time I logged on I got a Bowers and Merena banner. Have to think about this one for awhile, my first reaction was cheesy, but I am too tired tonight to think let alone much care. So much for the posters having blatant advertising. I wonder if they same folks who pitched a bit*h about the dealers advertising will voice the same comments about the sacred cow selling space.
As I just asked in another thread on this topic: For purposes of constructive feedback to both Pinnacle and CU, do those of you who dislike the ad have a problem with the concept of the ad, itself, or the fact that it "moves"?
Personally Mark it doesn't phase me one way or another. I am just curious how some the blowhards that complained about you having the website addy in your tagline will respond. I doubt if they will.
If it helps pay our freight, no problem ... a half click on the mouse wheel and it is out of sight. A static ad, rather than moving/flashing, however, would be less distracting and "more dignified."

I've mentally tuned out banners on web sites for so long, I don't see them most of the time.
I've already blocked the banners so I don't see them any longer.

I guess they need to find a new way to drum up business from the forum now that Mark Feld has left their employ.

The ad's tolerable, Mark. Free country. Smaller and not moving, would be more appealing.

You forgot to add a to your politely worded insult. You do realize that when you add a , you are free to belittle and bash all you want!
