I have yet to get any ANACS DMPL to cross at PCGS, and I have cracked them out and submitted raw. Every one has come back in a body bag as altered surfaces. My choice should be obvious.
There are many many ANACS dmpls that will successfully cross to PCGS. The fact that the UDM designation is on the coin would further suggest that this is likely. Because PCGS does not attribute a coin as having UDM, I do not think you can count it against PCGS, and so I think the question is simply would you prefer a ANACS slab versus a PCGS slab? I think most of us prefer the PCGS slab, and those that do not probably do not even care if the coin is in a slab.
Nevertheless, because of the popularity of the registry sets, there are a lot of opportunities out there in ANACS slabs, in my opinion, and maybe the coin you describe is one of them.
ANACS CAM UDM. I've heard they sell for more than PCGS DMPLs, in sight-unseen venues, like EBay. If I remember right, the criteria for a UDM is 12" on both sides. While DMPL at PCGS is 8" on both sides. Now yes, you could have a PCGS DMPL that had incredibly deep mirrors... but in a sight-unseen market... I would take the UDM for the guarentee of the deeper mirros... that of course, is assuming I had the money. CC Morgans are big right now... DMPLs are big right now... put 'em together, whatcha got? A very popular coin
I will pay a much higher price for an ANACS UDM anyday, and so will other buyers on eBay. UDMs are impossible to find anymore, and outragiously priced when they are found.

The PCGS would be a better overall coin. However, a PCGS MS64 is most likely to be an ANACS MS65.

I know certain people who look for ANACS UDM Morgans and will pay good for them.
