So joining the Coincraft 2000, outdated 1985 Spinks, 1993 Seaby, 2004 Redbook and first edition 1841 Hawkins...
i've just been and bought volume one of JJ North's English Hammered Coinage (cost me about $75) and that's without the second volume which i'll purchase at a later date, just been looking through it and i think it covers just about everything you could possibly need to know about hammered coins between c.600-1272.
I could almost quit collecting milled... almost.
