Grading services at the shows.....

I am planning on going to the Clearwater show tomorrow and was thinking about cracking out a couple of Bust Halves I think are upgrade candidates.

How are coins graded at the coin shows? Any differently than sending them in?
Do the graders tend to spend less time inspecting the coins at the shows and are your chances any better at aquiring a upgrade?

It was mentioned in a previous post "ANACS will be there, NGC should be there, and ICG and/or PCI might be there".

I think I remember ANACS being there in January and it was a smaller show.

ANACS will be at the show--they'll also look at the coins free for you--great people.

As far as their actual grading goes, they don't grade at the show. Their fastest show specials are flown back to OH for grading overnight, and sent back to be at the show the next day.

ANACS will be there... but as Jeremy said, they don't grade on site. I would think NGC would be there, seeing as how close they are to Clearwater... but, I need to check their web site. PCI was there in January and grading on-site... if you want to send your coins to PCI that is............

The only grading service I noticed at the show today was PCI. They are located in the back area of the show.
