3 Year anniversary

Since nothing gets by me, I noticed that I've been on the boards since July 2001, thus exactly 3 years and 4000+ posts later, I was curious who else remains from the golden age of the summer of '01 or before. I know theres not too many of us left. Wish ZARDOZ was back on board, and even the NOGGLE boys, granted they are probably in jail, but some jails have access to computers.
By the way, since day 1 that I joined, I have always seen trolls, fights & arguments on here. Some members think the trolls, fights & bickering are a new thing, not so! ...jay

    Where did the Noggle boys ever go? (That was their name, right?) My brain is but a fraction of what it once was; and even that wasn't much to begin with.

    VARGHA - If my memory serves, you are the one that called them out and pinpointed where they lived in Washington State (Bethel). you even knew their mothers name, Shirley! I'm like an idiot savant, I can remember specific things from years ago, but I can't remember things that happened yesterdy. There was 2 of them, the older one who was OK just on to spam his items, but his brother was a piece of work, having fights and arguments with many board members, and even wanted to beat a few of us up....Yep! the good ole days image ...jay

    Plus I was here for about two years prior to 02/01 on the older message board which makes me a particularly disturbed board member.

    Yes, I remember the noggle boys...but more recently what about "nippler" (scd fanatic--had the logo of a cuihuahua). The noggle boys have probably grown up some and matured a little.

    Pardon the intrusion from a relative newcomer but I wanted to thank you guys for sticking around to share your wisdom and I wanted to see if you find it surprising that some members who have joined in the last 3 or 4 months have a higher post count than some of you.

    Jay - you are a class member of the boards, and from all accounts, a good guy to do business with. I read the boards for a long time before I actually joined, and always liked reading your posts.

    Jay is definitely the "Mayor of Cardville" and the only honest public official out there. He conducts himself with class and his posts are intelligent. Someday we will be telling our grandkids we posted with Jay. Of course, they will think we're senile and we'll probably be jirking off in the corner to pictures in a tire catalog, but to each his own. Congrats on three years, Jay. You truly make the hobby better by being a part of it.

    DAN - I think it was JNOGGLE, and both posted on it. Sort of like good cop/bad cop. The one was hawking All Star game stuff (incl a ball he caught at the game) and he was harmless while the other was threatning to beat up all that came into his path...jay
