Looking for a cow.

For my display of animals on coins, I need a nice coin from Gurnsey that has the cow on it. The bigger and the brighter if possible.

If you have one, let me know.

    The Wisc State Quarter.
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • MadMarty - I am planning to use the Wisconsin State Quarter also. The Guernsey is the only other cow coin I found.

Harold: Sometimes a ray of light comes through like your post. Your offer to send a coin because I requested one is what gives all of us some pride in sharing our love for collecting. It does not matter that the coin may be worth 10 cents or 10 dollars, it was the gesture.

I am assembling a whole coin zoo, and I do plan to post your message with the display. I really feel it is important that young numistist (sp?) know that our hobby is all about sharing.

We have a lot of people on this forum like you, and they make this forum and hobby great.

    Sincerely,

    Tade
