Who cares! It is bullion. It is like trying to compare winning the World Series with the little league world series. Yes both are champions, but one matters the other no one cares.

Steve: Congratulations on a great set of Plat coins!
I remember when folks said these things to you as well:
1. Steve - they are only Silver Roosies for goodness sake - who cares!!
2. Steve - they are only Jefferson nickels - who will ever care!!
3. Steve - they are only Kennedy Half Dollars for goodness sake - what's the big deal
4. Steve - they are only Wash Carvers - who gives a darn
6. Steve- they are only BTW's - no one ever liked those
7. Steve - they are only Wash quarters - no one has ever cared about that series. Ditto on clad set. Ditto on state quarters.
8. Steve - they are only CA Gold coins - dump those fast!
9. Steve - they are only Franklin Half Dollars
And, on and on and on. So, is there any reason why $100 MS70 Plats shouldn't be compared to girls field hockey, little league baseball, senior's shuffleboard? It's just bullion for goodness sake!!

Just finished 6 weeks of t-ball and rookie league. No, it is not the same as major league baseball. Anyone who thinks otherwise just doesn't understand the game.

Wondercoin, as a 10 time record holder in powerlifting, I understand what you are attempting to say, but it does not compare to a "real" sport. Sorry.
Playing in the little league is just what it is, just as bullion is just what it is. (many of the players in the little league world series end up in the big leagues, same can be said for some of the players in the little league registry sets)

My wife was a champ too. Now where does that lead us? ps. Who convinced you that ms70s are "just" bullion? Just curious, coach. (I know you are an asset, and have much to offer).
... very good one... ...shall we move on? This thread was ostensibly designed for OTHERS to post their year's acheivements. Mine (bull., as it may be) was but an example.
REGARDING THE ISSUE OF WHETHER THESE PLATINUM EAGLES ARE MERELY "BULLION":
The US Mint Web page states:
"All American Eagles are legal tender coins, with their face value imprinted in U.S. dollars. Although their face value is largely symbolic, it provides proof of their authenticity as official U.S. coinage. The one-ounce platinum coin displays the highest face value($100) ever to appear on a U.S. coin"
Lets see.....legal tender.... U.S. minted coin.....
The U.S. Mint changed the landscape of U.S. coins by minting the first $100 legal tender(circulate it if you want to) coin.
Happy 4th everyone!
