Who stold the Naxcom Banner Ad?!

imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage

I bet Toppsgun broke in and took it... while no one was looking! It had to be him. image

Actually, on a serious note .... I started this thread because I got an e-mail last week from one of the CEO's at Naxcom, in reference to a thread he had read here in the forums. On the thread, I had mentioned some of the problems I'd encountered trying to navigate Naxcom's site, and some of the issues I had with the way it worked, the quality, etc.

The letter I received from the CEO said that he had seen the thread, and he was concerned about the issues. He asked me several questions about the techincal issues I had with their site ... and he also wanted me to list anymore complaints / ideas /suggestions I might have that could help them improve their site.

Our letters were long and quite detailed, and as it turns out.... a couple of the technical issues I had with their site might actually stem from my use of a Mac computer. I've run into several sites over the years that don't seem to like the older Mac operating systems and I can't always see (or use) all of the features on some sites. He wasn't aware of the issue, and I mentioned to him that it can be fixed.

Anyway, I just wanted to mention how impressed I was that the COO of Naxcom took the time to "look into" the rantings of some guy that was talking about his company on a message board. Not only did we exchange several e-mails, he is passing on the info to his tech team and they are going to try and resolve some of the issues. He said they are currently working on some changes and improvements to the Naxcom operations, and that they are always interested in customer feedback and reactions.

I'm not a person that is easily impressed.... but after dealing with him, I got a really good feeling about the Management team over at Naxcom, and also about how they truly want to try and build a better mouse trap for card collectors. I am personally going to make an effort to support them more often... and I hope some of you will give their site a try too. After all, other options can only be a good thing...right?

Mike

No, not him, he's been too busy lurking on some new card message board lately.

    Fuzz,

Yea, mojo kept e-mailing me... wanting to know what thread you were talking about. I told him I hadn't seen it either, and he was all worked up over missing out on the action. You know how he gets sometimes image

He e-mailed me last night with the link to the thread, and I had planned to head over there shortly and stir up the pot a bit... but I've been busy trying to find a lower grade card to bump my 66 set up to exactly tie your set. You see, I'm at a mathamatical delima ... if I add any of my new 8's or 9's I'll pass your set... and I promised Kirk, Lillo and Art that I would tie it exactly and keep it tied until D-day. (D-day being short for ... Defeat Fuzz Day, of course).

So I'm hunting for a .02 bump card (PSA 6 maybe) that I don't have... which is actually a lot harder to find than it sounds. I might just have to pull off a PSA 8 card and add a higher weighted 8 or 9 to make it work out... but don't worry... I 'll figure it out soon enough.

By the way, speaking of shots over the bow... I didn't see you responding to the thrashings you were taking "across the street." You did get my e-mail... didn't you? I'll send another one just in case. It wouldn't be the same without you.

And lastly, I just finally upgraded to the new Mac OS X Panther operating system (so I can quit being the "root of all the trouble on the internet" image ), but of course all of my old saved links and favorites are all whacked out, so I'm trying to rebuild everything on my computer.

So if it takes me a little longer than normal to respond to the "shoot'n match" or tie your 66 set, please understand... the technically challenged (me) need a little time to get back up to speed.

By the way... did the straight 8 checklist show up on the pop report yet?

A straight PSA 8 checklist. #132........realisticly FUZZ & ART what would you pay for one??
If you go public with an offer of a couple large, you may just be offered one.
Maybe not a graded one, but a raw version that will grade out, or a graded one once
the masses find out what you would pony up for one.
    Throw out some numbers gentlemen.
You guy's are the TWO HEAVY HITTERS!!
I know Art has visions of scoring one like that Funny Ring he ended up with.
Lightening never strikes in the same place twice .....does it?? image
