How crazy is this?

Where do you start with this auction?

- Refractor?
- Reserve of $5,500?
- Using our own rbeatons set as part of the advertisement?
- His first signature?

This is so laughable.

I'll sell anyone that card for 1/2 of what he's asking, and mine is a PSA-9. image

I'm really confused by this listing. What does it have to do with my set? I think I'll email him and ask him how the Babe could sign that card when he had been dead for 20+ years. Now, where's that link to report this to Ebay...

I would buy it if it included a picture of the Babe rising from the dead with Sharpie in hand.

Imagine that card signing authentication picture.

Looking at the seller's feedback, two questions immediately surface:
    1. With 3 no pays in the last 5 weeks, why is this woman still on eBay?
    2. Whassamatter with the shoes?

I'm thinking of upping my bid to $5,499, just because!
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

I'm sure the eBay staff is laughing and saying, "Thanks for the listing fees pal!"

Isn't there a 1% listing commission fee on reserve auctions when the auction ends and reserve not met?

    From eBay:

"When you list a Reserve Price Auction, you will also be charged a Reserve Price Auction Fee, which is also based upon the reserve price. Reserve Price Auction Fees are fully refundable. At the end of the auction, if your item sells, the Reserve Price Auction Fee is refunded to your account."

Insertion Fees for regular, Reserve Price Online Auction, and Multiple Item listings.
    Starting Price,
    Opening Value or
    Reserve Price Insertion Fee

    $0.01 - $0.99 - $0.30
    $1.00 - $9.99 - $0.35
    $10.00 - $24.99 - $0.60
    $25.00 - $49.99 - $1.20
    $50.00 - $199.99 - $2.40
    $200.00 - $499.99 - $3.60
    $500.00 and up - $4.80

To be more specific, the eBay folks are saying, "Thanks for the $4.80 pal!"

    Just sent him this note

    Genius......

the card is 6 of 15 in the SET. $5500 buy it now!!!!! I could purchase 100 sets for that price alone.

Secondly it is a fascimilie autograph not a real one as Bae was deceased many many years before these were made. Quite a trick to have him autograph this wouldn't you say.....

Also I am sure people do not appreciate you stealing information from their PSA set registry Good luck.
