Roll of 1996 Silver Eagles

Question I have, would you get them graded or leave them alone...if you have them graded, who would be the best service to get them graded by.

Its just silver bullion not even meant for circulation. I doubt if it will have any value if slabbed.

1996 seems to be some what of a "key" date for Silver Eagles. A quick Ebay search showed an eagle graded ms69 by PCGS that recently sold for $91. I know I wouldn't pay this kind of money for a bullion coin, but there are those that do and I would be happy to sell them! If you can make 69's in PCGS holders, go for it.
I've had great transactions with people like: drwstr123, CCC2010, AlanLastufka, Type2, Justlooking, zas107, StrikeOutXXX, 10point, 66Tbird, and many more!
  • Unless you think you have a sure MS-69 in the bunch, it probably isn't worth the slabbing fees. MS-68's are going for about $35 on eBay......69's for about $90.

Wholesale bid for decent BU 1996 Silver Eagle is $27 a coin. Lots of buyers. Like other people have said unless you have a lock 69 they aren't worth sending in. Coin has to be pretty darn nice to be a PCGS MS-69.
