I like coins with eagles, I like coins with horses. I thought about why I like them and then I made a startling revelation:
PHILIP m
Usage: English, Biblical
Pronounced: FIL-ip
From the Greek name Philippos which means "friend of horses", composed of the elements philos "friend" and hippos "horse".
ARNOLD m
Usage: English, German
Pronounced: AHR-nold
From a Germanic name meaning "eagle power", derived from arn "eagle" combined with wald "power".
It all makes perfect sense now!
I know one coin with both and that's the 1813-1913 Prussian 2 and 3 mark commemoratives. But are there others with both?
