Flaws are the only thing keeping this little beauty from being perfect. Had to laugh at this one!

"All evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing."
that being said, we all know that the majority of sellers overgrade their stuff..

Saying ONLY the corner wear keeps this from being NM is like saying the only thing that prevents Marilyn Chambers from being a virgin is all the porn movies she did!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
But without seeing better scans of the card, you guys have to admit that if the guys description is truthful (no creases, edge, surface wear) that this card falls under the guidelines of EX at least.. and possibly EX-MT..
Thats IF the guys description is truthful.. because you cant see the surface in the scan..

i agree.. ive been burned by giving benefit of doubt also.. but a EX actually allows for rounded corners.. EX-MT allows for "frayed" corners..

SMR is $350 in Ex. I might just go after this one.
Stone - this could be the "Behind The Green Door" special of the week. But maybe not....a four way on a swing may be much more valuable. Adding, that I am embarrassed to know that.

All Cards and no play would make for a dull life - don't ya think?
Mike
5 - very minor rounding of corners
6 - slightly graduated fraying
4 - may be slightly rounded
I might say 5, but usually am 1 off when looking at scans.
I go for a 4 VG-EX, especially with the upper right corner, and maybe the lower right too.
But who knows, if the surface really is OK and the rest falls in line.

I think one of us needs to win this card, submit it to PSA, and lets see who is closer
there are alot of people who dont think it beneficial to submit low-mid grade stuff.. i sell most of my vintage stuff raw, and unless its REALLY sharp, i dont bother sending it in.. otherwise, i just try to give an accurate "grade"..
YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 2004 DONRUSS DAVID WELLS JERSEY CARD. THERE ARE NO CREASES, WRINKLES, BUBBLES OR BENDS. NO EDGE WEAR. NO SURFACE WEAR. CORNERS HAVE SOME SINGING BUT NOT EXCESSIVE.
THE FACT THAT THIS CARD IS ON FIRE IS THE ONLY THING PREVENTING THE CARD FROM BEING NM.
Korben Dallas: Negative, I am a meat popsicle.

lol.. it would have "considerable discoloration" on front and back from the flame, knocking it down to a PSA 2 GOOD..
BTW - As Aknot said, if David Wells is singing, its a good card, and Boomer is probably drunk..
