I have always been able to determine what was wrong with my coins that got bodybagged. On this one I can't. Any help?

It's a reeding mark!
I may take this along to Pittsburgh and see if PCGS can tell me what they saw, or see!....Ken

I am not kidding the X on the right side is as plain as day once you see it and the writing on the left side becomes pretty apparent as well. mike

dlimb2 is right. You've gotta ditch the crack pipe. I can't see a thing.
I think I see it. Look between the F and D in HALF DOLLAR. That definitely appears to be tooling.
Let us know.

I know I got an old monitor but I can see writing on my end. mike
I can't make out what's in the left circle, but there sure is something there also.
Seems plain as day to me. I must be smokin' the same batch as Darktone I guess.

Yes, I see what you mean on the right, but I believe you are seeing breaks in luster and your eyes are visually playing "connect the dots".
I still think there's tooling between the F and D. Who knows. Maybe it's my eyes that are playing tricks.

What do you see between the F and D at the bottom of the reverse?

Best way I can describe it is that it's an area without any luster!...Ken
I'm going to take the coin to the ANA show and ask PCGS what's wrong with the coin.....Ken
My guess and I bet I'm right....."counting machine mark." That's a direct quote from my last bodybag. At least they wrote me a message on my bodybag slip. It has very faint marks near the rim. So I sent it to NGC. Got my grade from NGC today on the same PQ Walker they bagged......NGC graded it MS66. Isn't it silly that they bagged it and NGC graded it 66. The coin is very PQ but they think they saw a "counting machine mark." Whatever. Look near the rim for small, insignificant scratches. That's cause to take your money and send you a 2x2 flip with your coin and no grade........

SOMETHING sure is playing with Mike's mind.
Just another opinion.

After you do that you gotta update this thread & ttt with the results. Now I'm overly curious.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
I think its the obverse. Something looks a tad fishy in this area.
hope this works:
Here is a comparison(generally)I pulled from Fc57Coins tutorial.
