Modern Commem question/ L&C question

I'm thinking about buying one of these L&C dollars. Does the mint still have them?

For this kind of stuff (i.e., modern commems), would I be a sucker to buy them from the mint? Does the price drop on the aftermarket?

Still available I believe (I have 3 of each I think- 1 for my son, 1 for me, 1 for speculation)

2 schools of thought....
1) Buy from a dealer/show. Sight seen. Less chance of a problem you will need to return it to the mint for.
2) Buy from the mint. More guaranteed that you are getting someone's "throwaway". Price is likely to be same or cheaper (I think the big places sell them for $1 markup or a little more....on ebay, generally won't find for less than Mint sells them for).
