Can someone take a look at some of the following links.... This is my first webpage and I am working with a new camera.

So many variables. Any comments on the photo quality? I know I need to work on lighting.

1840 Seated Half
1834 Bust Quarter
1799 Dollar

These 3 are my picks from the last week.

  • Nice pictures... I especially like that coin that begins with "17" image

On the 1834, the obv is nice and sharp. The rev is slightly out of focus in the area of 7 to 9 oclock. Sometimes tilting the coin slightly to compensate for that will improve the pic a lot. Many times the coins aren't straight inside the slab.

    Nice pics.

Great pic! FYI, I had to scroll right to see the entire image. My screen size is set to 1280x1024.

Good job tmot99. Nice coins and great pictures.
The longer I live the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice is it possible for an empire to rise without His aid? Benjamin Franklin
  • I second the thought that your page is too wide. I am running 1280x1024 too and have to side-scroll.

In my web pages, I design them 1024x768 as this is a pretty standard resolution.

If you want to keep the pictures that big, consider placing one below the other or show a smaller image that will open a new window with the large image when clicked.
