Help needed

Hi All,
Making an enquiry for my father in law.He has two coins which he wants valued,One is a British half soveriegn,gold and in mint condition.Dated 1925,the flip side of the coin has the head of King george and the front side of the coin looks as if it st George slaying a dragon.The second is a trading coin which I assume was used during the British Empire in the orient.It is dated 1900 and has brittania on the front side of the coin and chinese and arabic script on the rear.Is there anywhere online where I may get a rough valuation? Also what would the procedures be?Such as would I have to take photos of the coins and so on.

Welcome to the forum!!!! You might sneak over to ebay and see if you can find any similar coins to see their approximate worth, or post your question in the World and Ancient coins forum. If you could post some pictures, then you could get an answer very quickly. Enjoy!!

Condition is everything. Good pictures would allow for a rough evaluation of the condition.

By the way Placid,those coins you put up are exactly the same coins I have in front of me.
