OK, it's official. I have succumbed to the Darkside...

image
I just got this beautiful set in today. Woo Hoo! BTW, any scratches or marks are on the plastic capsules holding the coins. The coins themselves are flawless!

Well, I don't see any bagmarks on the red X and it looks like it has full, blazing luster! However, the design seems to lack imagination.

Say, are you sure you are wearing your eye patch on the right eye today? Nevermind... I'll try a different image host to see if I can suit a dead king. image

If all else fails, just copy and paste the above URL into your browser. I really don't know why sometimes the pic shows and sometimes it doesn't. image

I really don't know why. I suspect my image hosting site is flaking out. I've never had these problems before.

Thanks Askari. I've been a closet Darkside collector for about a year now, but just decided to come clean about it. image For whatever reason, I took to the Australian Kookaburra coins and have been building a set of them. I have a bunch already, but I'm trying to build a complete set of Kookaburras. It's gonna take me a while to put this together, but I'm enjoying the hunt. image

Thanks for the help farthing! Now, I'll just have to try and figure out why my image host isn't doing what it used to do. image

The darkside really isn't a bad place! image Some beautiful coins, JR!

Weird thing like what happened with satootoko...no image, but after pasting the link into a new window and coming back...there they were! (of course, by the time I got here, farthing had posted the pic already anyway!)

    Thanks Deb! image

I really don't know what's going on with my images. I checked them out on the testing forum before posting here, and my image worked there always and only sometimes here. I don't get it! image

Welcome! That set is a good start. Just stay away from SA proof coins -- they're ugly and worthless. image
