A pretty Barber Dime

As most of you know, I'm a Morgan Collector, but I do appreciate nice coins in other series:

That's heresy for a Morgan collector of your status!!!! image Please send that nasty thing to me for proper disposal.....image

Sorry Neil, it isn't my coin. image

I need to work on these a little more, I'm finding dimes are quite a bit different to image than dollars.

Im going to have to work on my setup. This one didn't come out as nice as I would hope. The marks on the obverse are on the holder, not the coin.

A nice toned Barber dime is a thing of beauty. Especially when it has luster to boot. Thanks.

Thanks for the compliments. I have a total of seven Barber dimes here ranging from MS63 to MS65. I am still working on the best settings to image these. I'll post some more as I get them.

Here is the 1904 again. I have finally managed to get the entire coin in focus. These sure are tough to figure out!

Yeah, more zoom image I usually keep the camera about 4 inches above the coin and try to get the main light as vertical as possible without casting a shadow of the camera on the coin.
