cool desktop magnifier

I was going through some boxes in the attic & found this cool desktop magnifier. It has legs to stand on the table and put the coin down and look through. Pretty handy...

Mark: I agree that it's one of those old bino-stereo viewers for 3-D viewing of aerial photographs.

It should work great if you have two identical coins to view -- like the old offset stereo images image

I remember seeing an old stereo atlas. those are pretty cool. Nice aerial photos of things that come popping out at you.

I still like this old clunker. Must be about 60 years old, but still works great and lets you have 2 free hands and the ability to move your head and or hands to change the view instead of the glass. Its in the 7-8 power range and stands about 18 inches high on a real heavy base.
