*** 1883-CC ANACS MS-64 DMPL Morgan Dollar -- New Improved Photos ***

StuartStuart Posts: 9,761 ✭✭✭✭✭
Here is an Obv & Rev photo that I very quickly took tonight to show you the new 1883-CC ANACS MS-64 DMPL Morgan that I purchasd at the Austin Coin Show this past Saturday.

I know that it's squashed and not the best photo -- but it'll have to do for now until I get more time to take a better shot. It does give you an idea of the DMPL mirrored surfaces...

How was the show? Get any other coins? Sell any?

    See any old friends?

Adrian: I also purchased a raw 1880-O (see other thread) and did not bring any coins with me to sell at this show. I will probably try to sell some duplicate Morgans at July's Bellaire Coin Show.

Only friends that I saw were Tonekiller, Blade & DPoole with whom I had lunch & visited. Saw a few dealers whom I also knew like Tom Bermel & Sonny Toupard of Royal Coins (both from Houston).

Gonfunko: Thanks for complimenting my newest DMPL Carson City Morgan addition. There are plenty of them out there.

I've even got some nice ones in PCGS MS-62 PL & MS-63 PL, which are still very affordable. Have fun looking!! image

I'm sure it's a decent coin Stuart. Something don't look right. Perhaps you been playing with the software enhancement a bit too much?image

  • Nice coin! The blood-red toning is a bit eerie, but it looks awesome!

STMan: I took a bit of artistic license with increasing the dramatic look of this coin -- but it is very close to how the coin really looks when you reflect light from the DMPL surfaces...

I see a trend here. Stuart is starting a set of carson city 64dmpls.

I want to see the 89-CC in 64dmpl.

Thanks Damian! Well, at least MS-64 PL which I feel is a best value grade image
