HELP! Out of the Loop on the National...

Hey Guys,
It is almost July again, and that means the National. Well, my family had been going through some tough financial times until recently, as overtime was cut and threats of relocation were looming, and I wouldn't ask for anything, yet alone to go to the National. Thankfully, everything has since cleared and is for the best, with my dad's job intact and our location, as well as his work, remaining central. Today, during food shopping, my mom and dad asked about the National and why I hadn't said anything about it for this year. Well, they gave the OK, but I need some help. Any Clevelanders out there who can name a hotel close to the location that is nice, but inexpensive, as well as someone who could give me a head's up as to any Registry meetings that still have available seats and such, would be well appreciated.
A little heads up on where I have been... INCREDIBLY busy junior year at Salisbury, including League titles in basketball and Debate, as well as a District XI title in baseball. I got a decent 1330 on the SAT the first time, with a 690 in math and am looking at Syracuse as a college choicel, as a broadcast journalism major. Won the Class Presidental election for the fourth straight year, running unopposed. With all of the success though, our Cross Country team went 0 for the season, for the second straight year. I play baseball with Coach Hensinger's son, and we joked that we were in an honorable mention on ESPN's Worst 25 Teams special.
My band now has a new lead singer. I was ousted from that position, thankfully, as a more charismatic, energetic, and over all better singer and performer, took over. I still play bass and contribute on back up vocals. We are going to a real studio for the first time on July 12 and 13 to record new original material. We renamed ourselves the Green Mountain Rebels and can be found here. It is still very much underconstruction.
My card collecting has been VERY stagnant, and am interested to see what I have been missing. The last National discussion I remember is about the Indians game. If there are any more tickets left with the group, I would be interested, but if not, that's cool too. I'm trying to convince dad to come along this year and take a break from work...
Alright, hope to hear from you guys soon!

Ian,
Check with King Kellogg for ticket availability.Invites went out for the Registry luncheon.Check with BJ on that one.A lot of guys are staying at the Mariott(Four star hotel)for around $80 a night.(priceline).Sounds like you have had a very productive and fulfilling hiatus.Does your description of the lead singer translate to one with boobs ? Good to hear from you again.

Wow Ian,
it sounds like you get more done in a week,
than I got done in all five years of high school.
See you in Cleveland ...
"How about a little fire Scarecrow ?"
