highlight from the show

This is one bought from our favorite dealer at the Raleigh Show this weekend. I was looking for a nice example for my type set. The scan fails to show the mirror like fields and crisp details. This coin is near a red/brown with lots of luster.

I also picked up a nice unc 1928 1/2d, a couple of unc SA 1ds and a future "eyepopper" giveaway coin (1945 Iran 2 rials with cool toning)
Rhound and I got to briefly meet "compa" on the bourse, he was busy with boxes and boxes of dealer stock to look thru.

Got to the Raleigh Show about 10:30 on Sunday morning. First looked for PCGS US classics and found few and they were all too expensive for me. So I ended up with these:

2002, 2003, 2004 1oz. Silver Pandas

1999, 2000, 2003, 2004 1oz. Lunars. I already had the 2001 Snake(via a Mr Bill giveaway, a long time ago) and need the 2002 Horse.

1996 Proof Silver Eagle (have the rest), 2004 1oz. Kook, and a raw 1948 Irish 1 Penny AU/UNC RD/RB
