Seems like a nice 1975 Ryan...

Unopened Pack

Wonder how the corners are?
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

  • With it being cello wrapped and on the top, I would bet the corners are going to be NearMint-Mint at best, and a 75 PSA 8 Ryan is worth about $80-90. The centering looks nice as do the edges, but those corners are more than likely rounded or blunted.

I see a lot of cellos and other packs for that matter and always wonder what the corners look like inside. The grade isnt for the cards, it's for the presentation of the unopened pack right?

I don't think anyone really knows what the grade on a GAI pack really means. It has been asked before...is a 9 pack "more unopened" or "more guaranteed genuine" than a 7 pack? Or, is the 9 pack more likely to have better cards inside? Who knows?

The corners on that Ryan are certain to be slightly pinched. I would guess it would grade an 8 at best, making that pack a losing proposition already...

Is that a gumstain on the Foster on back, or some sort of shadow from the folds in the cello?
