non-rainbow morgan

Just because you are a "powerseller" with 100% feedback doesn't mean you have a clue!

  • At least its naturally toned. A lot better than most of the crap advertised as "rainbow" on eBay.

Rainbow has now become a generic term.

I'm not under the impression that eBay Seller made up the rules.

    It's a subtle rainbow. Hey, it's still a pcgs 67 Morgan.

  • Nice looking coin, overall, but I don't agree with the MS-67 grade. Ive seen better at MS-65.

mgoodm3, maybe it's just my lcd monitor--but there is NO rainbow whatsoever in that coin. Just a fugly flat brown color.

That morgan doesn't have any rainbow to it, but I don't think that would qualify the seller as a moron. At least they're selling a quality coin... Now, gototoning or tonecoin2003 (whatever his handle is), you could call him a moron!!

    Myqqy,

That actually is one I wouldn't mind still having. There have been a small handful of coins I've sold that were more difficult to let go than others. Mostly, though, you're right, it's all about the money. That's because I'm a capitalist pig.

How the hell did this coin ever get a 67. The pics are lame, but 67?image

I have a p66 that I bought from Legend that looks nicer. $400

This coin could very well be an MS67. That lousy picture, being a SCAN, will NEVER show the luster well enough to determine the grade.

That being said how can this seller think he can sell MS67 material with crappy pictures like that? I've seen really stupid auctions on Ebay where the seller may very well have a "rainbow" or "incredible rare coin" but you can't see it because the picture is black and it looks as if it was shot from 2 miles away. Dumbasses... image

If you are going to sell on Ebay use pics like Russ has. Otherwise don't ficken bother...unless it is lower grade material.

Lousey strike for a 67! Flat in many areas. A 99-O is generally well struck. However, there are some known flatties.
