No, I think heaven is about service, worship, creativity' learning, discovery, etc. Utimately, those satisfy. Didn't Chirst say something to the effect of "Whoever would be great among you must be a servant".
So, with respect to coins, the joy in heaven would be to be able to share our collections and joy about them, with others who are interested. I would imagine that all the great coins will be there, and all interested collectors would willingly trade and share them with each other. After all, even if each collector held a piece for 1,000 years, each of us would still have an infinite amount of time to own it!!!

But, the catch is that they have to stay virgins for eternity.
Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

Fine, but what about the coin collecting?
I've thought about the descriptions of heaven that I've heard of the years on many occasions. And I have to say that if it was actually like how it is usually described, I don't think I would want to go there.

However, I would love to get the real scoop on all the coins I ever had an interest in. Talk coins with some of the famous collectors and researchers and mint employees. I don't think that would get old for a long time.

<< <i>Coin collecting? Muslims say you have to deal with 2 dozen virgins first. I have often wondered where they find enough to go around. >>
It's actually three times two dozen virgins. There are many theological questions
which have already been considered on the open forum..
In heaven coins actually get thicker and less worn as they circulate. If you wait
long enough they'll all be uncirculated.

If they keep on circulating do they eventually turn back into ingots?

No but the strikes and planchets get better until after an eternity they're all perfect.

I think with respect to coin collecting in the here and now, there is insight in what you said. Imagine going to a coin show where all the people knew nothing and had no interest in coins (or shared any or your other interests).

You take the samples, I'll take the blondes.

Okay, that's funny.

It was many years of purgatory.
