You're behind at least one issue. According to the June 18 greysheet, MS63 is now 1540/1700. This is absolutely ridiculous considering the population. I'm not saying this because I need one. I bought mine last year for $885.

I believe that the 78-CC, 81-CC, 85-CC, 90-CC, 91-CC and 92-CC are all artificially overpriced right now in selected grades, especially MS64, MS65, MS64DM and MS65DM. These are not all that super rare despite all the hoopla and hype about CC and DMPL dollars now. I think they are being put away by speculators and dealers now as opposed to serious collectors, as well as being bid up by a few select dealers to satisfy want lists......and have a lot of downside if/when the market cools off.

That is exactly what is going on Dragon, and I know of one dealer who is sitting on several thousand mint state CC dollars. The bubble will burst sooner or later, and when it does it isn't going to be pretty. As for me, I don't care. I collect the coins because I like them, and have gone through many of these cycles.

I got my 92-CC certified myself as PCGS G06. Don't laugh, at least I got one, and I paid very little for it. I guess I won't be upgrading this one anytime soon. I did just upgrade my 91-CC to a very awesome looking NGC MS60, so not all of my CC's are el-cheapos!

I'm with K6AZ. I'm strictly a collector at heart, and I don't really care about the up and down cycles. I just try to fill holes and upgrade when I can.
