IF YOU HAVE A COIN TO GRADE WOULD YOU HAVE IT GRADED BY PCI?????? WELL I DID AND HAVE A COIN THAT GRADED BY THEM MS 63 RED BROWN.... WHAT A JOKE. THIS COIN HAS NOT ONE BAG MARK . VIRTUALLY THE PERFECT COIN ALL EXCEPT THE TONING IT IS RED BROWN BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT IS PERFECT. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT PCI WILL GRADE A BIG COIN DEALERS COINS BETTER THAN AN INDIVUALS COIN. HAS ANYONE EVER HAD THIS PROBLEM? WELL I THINK I GOT SCREWED OUT OF 28.00 AND WILL HAVE IT GRADED AGAIN BY ANOTHER GRADING SERVICE JUST TO SEE IF I AM RIGHT ..... WILL LET ALL OF YOU KNOW THE OUTCOME.

PCI has been known to overgrade, therefore the coins in there holders tend to bring less money in the market.I highly suggest you have it graded by PCGS,ANACS, or NGC.

NGC certifies world coins, just not ancients. Their economy service for world coins is generally faster and cheaper than PCGS or ANACS.

People say that about all of the TPGs. PCI, though, does have a reputation for overgrading, so having one significantly undergraded by them makes it a true "condition rarity" ... although not the way the Litesiders mean it. Anyway, you know what they say, "Live by the sl@b, die by the sl@b."
