Do you ever search thru "eBay stores"?

I am just wondering if alot of buyers just search thru eBay auctions or do they search thru both eBay auctions and eBay Stores.

For those sellers who use eBay stores, do you find that your stock sells slower or faster than if it were on eBay auctions?

I prefer the eBay stores listings format because I can sort the items by price or time left, etc., which I like.

You can do that with regular auctions.

Searching eBay stores used to be a huge PITA -- I never did it unless I was working with a seller whom I knew would have stuff I'd want.

Finally, finally, eBay has it set where regular auction searches return Store listings as well. Why this took so long is beyond me -- it's a blindingly obvious thing to do. I already found and purchased an item from a Store that I would *never* have found otherwise.

I have found items in eBay stores that are not listed in regular auctions. If I find a seller who specializes in an area I am interested in I will frequently check out his store and find something I want.

I am starting to try out the eBay stores to sell some items to lower the fees that eBay auction tends to have. Another good feature is you can leave an item up for sale until it sells. But, I also found that with the items that are up for sale until they sell are not searchable by buyer who normally use eBay auctions. Is there a way to have those types of sales searchable thru eBay auctions?
  • If you search in auctions for a specific item many times they will list items for auction and at the end similar items in eBay stores. At least it does for me !!

I don't bother with stores--except a few board members' stores which I enjoy browsing (like Anaconda and JBSteven)... too much time to search/find each store...
