Will the Special SAE crossgrade or not?

I got one of the special PCGS member 2004 SAE MS69 coins in a special slab (no serial number), would that crossover to a regular SAE serialized slab at MS69 or not?
Or do you think it would be more valuable to keep as is?

Put it in the registry image
I don't think the one I got would grade 69 if I cracked it out.
There seems to be some kind of die flaw from the R to the Y.
Maybe in 20 years a slab collector will pay a premium for it.

  • Well here is my coin.
It does look to be pretty darn near perfect.
I guess they just won't do MS70's on this series.
I do not see the dies flaw that (I think) I see on your specimen.
The tiny scratches, hairs and stuff on the photos are actually on the plastic slab itself.
here are my scans of the coin.

  • Humm, just above and to the right of the T in Liberty (about 1/16" away), right up against the inside of the rim, there is a tiny "tic" mark like scratch on my coin.
Maybe that would keep it out of MS70 grading.
You can just see it in the scan.

Sell it on ebay and pump the fact that it is a collectors club slab that you cant get unless you drop the cashola to become a member and it will sell with a nice premium image

A- Not a guaranteed cross, as they're all graded MS69
B- For the grading fee, just go out and buy one already slabbed.
