Can anyone recommend a quality scanner for scanning cards

I'm looking to purchase a scanner to scan some of my cards to post on the PSA set regsitry. If anyone could assist me with some
recommendations on a good quality scanner it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Theo,

I use an HP Scanjet. I think you can get a suitable scanner for well under $100. Quality is all about the dpi settings. The registry only allows 100K per card which can be challenging for the TallBoys. There's a product called Photoshop that helps a great deal in making the scans look nice...but it's time consuming.

  • Pretty much any scanner, even the cheap ones, is good for scanning cards. HP is the most respected brand name; I'm also happy with my Canon LiDE 30. In terms of taking a picture's quality from decent to good, software is much more important than hardware.

  • Ditto. HP Scanjet 2200c works great for me.

I use a canon, it works great. If fact I am so happy with my canon scanner that I have purchased other canon products because I like their quality.
