Do you think anyone out their has the whole collection of morgan dollars (without proof morgans)? It would be neat to know someone had the whole collection of morgans. I am no where near the whole collection. I have a 1921 morgan in mint state condition.

Thats a start! Welcome to the boards! Ive been collecting for a few years, on a small budget. I just recently got a few CC's. Im sure alot of people have a full set, just not all in MS. Good luck with your collection!

I had a full set last summer for about 2 hours while at the Baltimore ANA show. I bought the 93-S and 94 I needed to complete the set, but sold a number of pieces just at the end of the first day!

I have a complete set raw minus the 95 proof the rest are mostly ef ms most cc are vg vf.

Just a circulated date set for me in a nice Dansco album. It's easy and fun to put together and you can afford to get a few key dates with the money you save by not building a complete set of 97 coins. I have pics in my sig.

Yo AYEEEEE...Welcome! I once possessed a slabbed/graded by PCGS collection of Morgan dollars short the 93-S, 94 & 95 specimens. I had the types and varities that are required by the PCGS set registry and then some that aren't recognized by PCGS... I was a proud goat. I auctioned it off 6 monthes ago..

I too started a morgan collection last year. I had three from when I was very young. They were given to me by my father. Then I started getting interested in them again. I've got 34 different dates/mm combinations most in mint state now. I only need one example of each from 1892-95 to complete a date set and will try for those later this year (in circulated grades of course).

I will have the basic 97 coin set(no 95 proof) as soon as I send the last payment for my 95S to the dealer. It takes a lot of looking and a bunch of money.

At one time, I wanted to build a complete MS set, but the "little lady" told me that it would not happen in her lifetime. lol

I have a 100% complete set (no 95 proof), but I still need to get the last 10% slabbed by PCGS. My favorite is an 1881-CC PCGS MS64.

I put the last coin in my Danco albums about 6 months ago. Since then, I upgrade when I can afford to. I tried for xf or better for all the coins, but it wasn't aways possible on that dreaded 2nd book. Yikes, some of those coins are pricy!!! But you cannot believe the feeling when that last coin goes in, it feels wonderful.
