    I don't think I would ever spend that much money on a raw coin, unless I knew the seller well and had a great relationship with him/her. That buyer is just asking for trouble.... image

    I've asked him about that company in the past. (Note how he photograhs the slab so there is a glare where the company name is.) He tells me that CGS is a service that has been around for years and is a solid, quality grading service, but he won't tell me what the initials CGS stand for.

    Well it is not a company that goes by CGS, it is CCGS, Capitol Coin Grading Service and it has only been around for 6 months or so. (He finally had an aucton where he didn't get the glare far enough to the left and the first part of the company name could be made out.)
