Was in Oklahoma City this past weekend for the wedding of a close friend. Had some time Saturday and hit the coin shop there in town. Jerry Brown Coin and Stamp. Jerry seemed like a nice guy and we hit it off. Bought some inventory for some customers, (mostly board members) but was really excited that I got this one for myself!!!

Nice addition to the seated half collection. What makes it even better is that it is a 1855/1854 and very original!!

Breen calls the variety "very rare" for what that is worth... Anybody have the pops?

Enjoy, John

Nice! I don't believe it's *that* rare, but it definately is worth a healthy premium over the regular date. If memory serves, this variety is gets really tough in the higher circ grades.

    EVP,

Just did some research and you are right... tougher in AU and above...

Paid 210$ for it. XF money is 275... VF is 190...

    I grade it VF35...

Pretty easy to pass over the overdate. It is not strong on any of them...
