decent 72 topps submission

i received the grades for my first half of a large 72 topps order. i expected a few more 9's and the o/c cards came as no big surprise, i had hoped for unqualified 8's on those. i must have missed something on the 7. hopefully the 2nd order yields a couple of 10's.
overall i am pretty happy with this one.

Quick question, are the 72 topps 9's commons bringing a pretty decent price? Have you noticed a decline in the value?

Those from the box opening Jim? A pretty good bunch of 9's there.

dave- about 25 were from the box i opened the rest were just random pick ups. the bulk of the 45 card submission i still have at psa are from the box as well. by no means did i ever expect to recoup what was laid out for the box.

pittfan- lower pop nines still sell for well over smr. mid to higher pops average from 25-40.

i just got the grades for my second submission, BY FAR my worst invoice ever....even worse than a recent beating i took submitting 71's.
again, except for the anderson i wasn't surprised at the o/c cards, but way too many any 8's and the 7's are a mystery to me....i usually only submit cards that i feel have a fair shot at a PSA 9 and would never send anything in that MIGHT be a 7.
my wife paid for the bulk of these cards, and i feel bad because i couldn't hide my disappointment and she knows enough that 7's are bad news.
i may decide to resubmit a bunch but i honestly feel it shouldn't have come to that.
