My English collection starts with Aethelred II and goes through George V. I collect one silver coin with each monarch on it. I also have a few Proof coins: (2) 1887 Crowns and (2) 1958 halfpennies.

Kidding of course, it seems like more of us collect British coins here than anything else. As for me I am working on a George III type set..

    Welcome to the boards George.

You have to define 'early'. Pre-decimal, pre-20th century, pre-Victoria, or pre-milled coins or somewhere between. There are some here who like all that stuff, tho I don't know why. image
