Beautiful Ryan lots! The sticker lot is a GREAT buy! Tough to get 9s, but still a nice lot for the dough. I also like the TSC Members Only and Team Set cards. You don't see those every day and you should get nice grades on them. Overall, I'd say you got great bargains on all those items. I was watching a couple of'em, but I kinda ran out of steam to place bids after all the action last night. I need a breather!

I hope you join the Ryan club! As you can see on these boards, we love the competition, we have fun, and it is a top-notch group of "good fellas" in our posse.

i probably will join in soon but i know nothing about the guys cards! i did grow up watching him play and did enjoy watching him pitch.

Great cards jackstraw. The NRMS is a lot of fun and not just the set, it's the family as Keith wrote. I hope you decide to join us. I have an extra Ryan or two that didn't sell last auction which I would be willing to donate to your cause. LMK.

I'm kind of tempted to just start a new thread - "Nolan Ryan Thread". Instead of 5 different threads a week, it would easily be consolidated into one, and would be like our own personal Nolan board. I'm thinking it would hit 1000 posts in less than a month, and if we could keep it floating towards the top of the list, it would kind of be like marking out our turf to the rest of the guys. It would be pretty intimidating to have to deal with that monster every time you came to the set registry board!

Maybe not intimidating, I think pathetic was the word I was looking for. Who cares I'm doing it anyways.
