A board member had me photograph these and said I could share the pictures with the board. These are really cool to see in hand, and I think even the doubling in the images looks pretty neat.

    Is that '38 Buff really a doubled die? It looks more to me like a repunched MM. Why is the doubling only on the MM?

    It's just the D/D... I don't know if it's just a dramatic RPM which PCGS notes, or an actual DD... regardless, I thought it was cool image

    As far as I know the 38 Buffalo is an RPM as noted by PCGS. I'm sure someone with more knowledge about this series can confirm that.

    You did a great job on the pictures Jeremy. That 72 makes me dizzy as well.

    That '72 cent is crazy... My red book doesn't show it, so I was actually wondering what the 72 double die looked like just yesterday.

    Jeremy - Great pics as usual. image Yes, the 38 D/D is an RPM, not a DDO. I'm out of town, so I can't cite the specific RPM (there were several for this date).
