What's a good photo software program to buy?

I am going shopping and I want to buy a photo program that I can use to edit the photos of my coins. Any recommendations?

What Placid said or Adobe Photoshop LE, any version. You don't need the regular Adobe Photoshop for such simple editing - way overkill and very expensive. I would, however, recommend sticking strictly with Adobe.
