Who or what decides who gets Invitation?

I've been a member for over 2 years, submitted hundreds of cards for grading, had couple of large sets on registry, currently have 75 set at 93% pay my memberships on time, don't whine or complain about PSA on these forums, what gives? This years national is only 5 hrs away I don't know if I'll attend but an invitation would be nice. Yes - now I have joined the ranks of the whining but at least I held out for a couple of years.image

  • You are hereby invited to attend the National Convention. Just hand the guy a ten and whisper the password "Davalillo" and he'll let you in.

tbub, do you have an email listed with your sets? I've gotten an invitation the past couple of years...through email. Although I have been unable to attend, I thought it was a nice gesture.

I am sure it's just an email thing...check and make sure the one you have on file with PSA is correct.

I bet it's a hotmail issue, tbub. I didn't get an e-mail invite either, though I can't make it to Cleveland. For whatever reason, a lot of messages - especially PayPal notifications - either don't make it into my inbox or arrive well after they're actually sent.

  • By the way Murcer, how are you able to edit other folks postings? This isn't the first one I've seen.

Hojo seems to have gotten that one by more people than MRC's #1 t205 set. Notice it is HOJO's sig line?
Disclosure- I asked the same stupid question a week ago.

I am sure that it is merely an oversight on PSA's part.I don't hardly ever submit cards for grading but got an invitation last year.It was the first year that I was an active member on these boards as well as the set registry.I would just e-mail BJ and I am sure that an invitation will be forthcoming if it has not already been extended.

VIC is correct! An eMail to BJ should have the situation resolved. I doub't eBay is picking & choosing the guests, and I'm sure a large turnout will be a feather in their cap...jay Heres an Email link to reach BJ, she will address the problem BJ's EMAIL LINLK

Wow, Mariner is right! The only thing missing to really make those auctions move is high quality professional photography. I just happen to know an amazing photographer whose studio is quite near your Hojoimage

I dont think that PSA will be checking invitations at the door. I appreciate the fact that they sent me one...but I wouldn't have been too offended if they didn't. I think they are trying to tell everyone that they appreciate our loyalty. Unfortunately, when someone gets unintentionally missed, it can backfire. It's a good chance to spend some quality PSA time and get your questions answered. I enjoyed the session last year.
