American Eagles - Question About Long-Term Storage

I bought a complete set of American Eagles a while back from my local coin dealer. He had placed both the proofs and uncirculated coins in a Dansco album.

Are they safe in the album for long-term storage? Should I move them out of the album, I.E. into air-tight holders?

Thanks.

They might tone in the dansco. If you don't want them to tone you might want to move them into airtites.
  • Okay, and should cotton gloves be fine for handling the proofs?

Not sure, I don't use albums.
If you put gloves in the search box at the top you will find a few threads on the subject.
