Coins And X-Ray machines

Ok, in just a couple weeks, I'm goin on vacation. And we're stopping in Baltimore on the way up so I can go to the show for a day. Now, my question is concerning coins and the x-ray machine. Will the x-ray machine negatively effect my coins in any way? Any other tips and advice? Thank you.

Well, the first bit of advice is to not take your coins with you. If that's not an option, then you do not have to worry as the X-ray equipment will not hurt your coins. See you at the show!

PS - how about bringing images instead of the coins? You have worked hard to aquire you coins and it would be a shame to lose them.

An X-ray machine won't hurt you, but be careful with the bag... I lock mine and don't show any indication of what's inside... try not to get security to open it in front of people.
