Coins And X-Ray machines

Ok, in just a couple weeks, I'm goin on vacation. And we're stopping in Baltimore on the way up so I can go to the show for a day. Now, my question is concerning coins and the x-ray machine. Will the x-ray machine negatively effect my coins in any way? Any other tips and advice? Thank you.

  • Well, the first bit of advice is to not take your coins with you. If that's not an option, then you do not have to worry as the X-ray equipment will not hurt your coins. See you at the show!

PS - how about bringing images instead of the coins? You have worked hard to aquire you coins and it would be a shame to lose them.

An X-ray machine won't hurt you, but be careful with the bag... I lock mine and don't show any indication of what's inside... try not to get security to open it in front of people.
