Guess the grade on this morgan

I just bought this today. The funny thing is that the color is a little better in person than the picture indicates. Subtle greens are hard for my camera to capture. Also the luster is not dead on this coin. The coin is in a gold label PCI holder, too , so you can try to guess what they graded it as if you wish.

If I assume there is not cleaning hidden by this toning, and I assume it is NT and not AT, I would grade it MS-63. It might even go to MS-64, but the odd toning is hiding some details. PCI probably graded MS-65 PQ.

Not to great at grading morgans but I'll say:

MS63 is best guess, I know this year was softly struck and it shows on the hair above ear, ear and breast feathers.

Unfortunately I have a few 62s. Here is one.

Well, I just cracked it out. Looks better raw. Although I'm going to send it to PCGS. PCI graded this a 65. It's a 64 in PCGS for sure but on a random day may just squeeze into a 65. The few small hits in the prime focal areas are masked well by the toning and do not draw attention. I would not be surprised to see it in a 64 at all.

I'm thinking 62, way too mushy of a strike, look at the ear lobe and the lower hair curls, the eagles neck and leg feathers (not to mention the standard hair above the ear and breast feathers).

the only thing keeping it out of an AU50 would be the wing tips and it still may AU with that.
